Located just 20 minutes from downtown Portland on beautiful Sauvie Island, our pastoral farm is the perfect location for a private Farm to Plate dinner. The morning of your dinner, farm fresh food is picked from the fields and delivered to our kitchen. That evening, you and your guests will sit down under our lovely oak tree to a delicious dinner that celebrates truly local Northwest cuisine. Because all of our space is outside, we are only able to host farm-to-plate dinners from May through October.

Meet Our New Chef
For Chef Joshua Loberg, the tradition of food being the magic that brings people together, celebrates our diversity, and connects us all to our roots, is what inspired him to attend the Oregon Culinary Institute in 2012. He graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management and a new title as “Chef.” Although Portland has been home for 25 years, Chef Joshua has traveled the world to explore its dynamic cultures and cuisines. Some of the stops on his journey includes cheffing for a B&B in Oregon’s wine country, catering for High End Entertainment events in L.A , Yoga Retreats in Thailand and a Colorado destination Luxury Resort. Joshua loves getting his hands dirty and has worked on sustainable farming projects during his travels, connecting him deeply to the source of our food and experiencing the hard work it takes to produce it. As a result, Chef Joshua’s cuisine boasts fresh northwest ingredients with bold flavors and a global touch. His passion for growing food and connecting with the ingredients he uses in the kitchen brought him to Kruger’s Farm. He is excited to join the Kruger’s Farm team to cultivate extraordinary dishes and go beyond farm-to-table, by bringing the table to the farm.
